Knitting project-infinite scarf

Hello,

I finished another knitting project, my infinite scarf!

Personally I think scarfs are a really nice accessory and can round up an outfit in a really lovely way. During my unemployment phase I did a lot of decluttering, especially of my wardrobe. I had gather a lot of items over the years, some of them only used one or two times, that didn’t fit my style anymore so I donate/sold them. Believe me all that talk about the benefits of decluttering/purging (Marikondo method and etc.) are true, in the end you feel good because your space is more organized, you only kept things you love, it’s easier to choose what to wear and you finally see that favourite sweater or whatever that you like so much but rarely used because it was tucked away in the back of your wardrobe.

Ok, seriously this post is about my new knitted scarf!

Since my declutter, I have been more cautious about spending money on clothes and currently when I buy something it’s because I really like it/need it and will definitely use it. However, once and a while I just want to buy something/get something new and that’s when knitting come in handy.
Over the years I have got a lot of wool as birthday/Christmas gifts and I had some really nice purple and dark cyan yarn that I decided to pair up with black wool with shiny speckles. I used a stripped pattern with a simple knit stich.

Initially, it was supposed to be a normal/linear scarf but I only had one yarn ball per colour so I decided to join it in the end.

(Sorry my camera is not always true to the colours)

I really like the colour combination, it reminds me of a starry sky with the purple and cyan colour of dawn.

Hope you like it,

Have a lovely day
