The Mindful project days#13 and 14

The Mindful project day#13

A good deal always makes my day!

When living in the UK I discovered charity and second-hand shops and loved them (they are not very common in Sweden or Portugal, unfortunately). It's like going on a treasure hunt! You won't always be lucky but once and a while you find that special item. Particularly I like to look for home décor pieces as you can find very unique items.

Here in the Netherlands charity and second-hand shops are also common and in our town we have a few nice ones.

This week my husband gave me several plants as a birthday gift that needed potting

and yesterday I got these two pots for 2,50 euros!!!

Here are more great deals from previous times:

This 5 zinc-pot set was 2 euros!! The small ones still had the original price tag -1,25 eur each!! and

they are perfect for my succulents (hubby's present!!).

This wicker pot cost me 2 euros!! its from IKEA (RÅGKORN pot) and its original price is 19,99 euros!!

This ceramic pot was 2 euros also and the label says handmade. The plant came free with the pot but they are priced at 25 euros in the supermarket! I think it was a great deal!

I love this wood tray with an Indonesian print. I don't remember the price as I bought like 2 years ago but I think its a lovely piece. The metal candle holders were bought I the UK for 2,99 pounds and I love to see them in the tray, I like the contrast between the styles.

Finally, this glass pot was also 2 euros and I love to see it filled with seashells I have gathered from every beach I have been in the world!

I hope this inspires you to also go on a treasure hunt! You get a good item/deal and your helping as most of the times these shops are associated with a specific charity, its a win-win situation!

That music that you can't stop hearing!

Have a lovely day!
